Wanna Come?

Last month (July) SDRF sent me to went with the volunteer team from GrX from LA to serve the area of Nan Province in Norther Thailand for teaching and visit some local churches, It was the really first real teaching for both the GrX and me at the school call BoYuak...so here some stories

The truck we using along 9 days of the trip... well on somedays we use 4WD when there some mud&land&rock slide after the 4 days long raining ....

At the School

Real pure and beauty.......... especially the pre-school kids :)... there something in their eyes thats bright and shiny rare to find in the city's kids or any places..

Lunch time
The youngers Grade 1-3 lined up...

They wait until everybody together, say grace (in Thai way) thank you for the food, to the nature, teachers, person who cooks and eat this meal remind that there many people in starvation ..so we will not waste the food'.

Here's the old dorm for the student who has to walk very long distance (some of them walk up to 11kms) to school. The older taking care of the younger while they are at the school on weekdays. Nowadays, GrX partnership with SDRF coordinate to build new buildings 1the junior high school building 2 teacher dorm/residence 3 new student dorm+school building. See this for more detail

Toun and his folks at Bo Klua View provided us the warm welcome service. I falling in love with the lady who working there 'ป้าขัน' or auntie Khan she's lovely and has a very warm genuine heart. And Yes! Great food, (that avocado dressed with deep fried bacon and white sauce is a-m-a-z-i-n-g), Toun is the manager/owner of this place (and a great chef .. have you been eat at Dusit Thani Hotel? thats where he from... see that drink, he made it with the decoration) Thanks for the dinner Toun!, this guy been living in Australia for a couple years. But still, he has such a great deep genuine heart for people in his own root community, involving and dedicated himself to the sustain the purity of the way of BoKlua people's life.

Sightseeing and Uhh What Bo Klua mean?

Bo Klua means Salt well, this is the only place in Thailand that has a salt mine on the mountain. In the ancient time, this is the precious area, people need salt till they fought in the war. But now, this is the peaceful area plenty with people that always welcome you with their hospitality.....

Ok the last pic is such a no-flattering pic then no definition for 'New Year Party' but for 'SHOFAR'

Shofar = Kudu's Horn or Ram's horn

So at New year party... we blew these Shofars together. akkk

Look i tried to copy him heheh.

Opportunity

finally, i decided to blow this out on xanga....

Around mid december, i got a phone call from one of my uncles told me to go meet the guy who is one of the boards of ECON Thai (Employer's Confederation of Thai Trade and Industry) He going to grant me a fund to go to Japan for a personnel training program for 8 months next year including round trip airfare, studying Japanese in Thailand and Japan, lodging and meal, ฅ150,000 for salary during the free training course, Initial allowance ฅ30,000... to some people around me...this is such a dream that come true for me

But one of the conditions (which are i couldn't afford to follow) is Elite (the school that i working for) has to apply to this confederation, which is in 100% different category of this confederation, then Elite denied to do (which is i totally agreed)... so with my uncle's love(nothing to be doubt on his), once he knew about the situation he try to find another channel for me to qualify in this grant. He help me to use another employer's name! actually his company.... I denied coz its not right spiritually and legally. So... i denied to spend the 8months of next year feeling guilty with this sweet thing......
After all, feedback and comments from someone who knew the news-- torn me down....'gosh! you such a pride and dull... this is a great opportunity that everybody dreaming of, your dream of helping people and save the world is so ridiculous....your moral is such absurd... you can serve God in wherver you are not only stick with your only concept..why not improve yourself and help support your family better from this thing, your integrity is inconsumable..'
I shouldn't care (and either my family they still love and support me in every decisions i made) but somehow i cried along this week from the indescribable feeling and voices in my head. In Asian way children were expected to treat and support their parents and family well....as a priority. Gosh! i better find a good food to soothed me from these messy thing in my head....

Royal Barge Ceremony.....

Isn't this beautiful.... Yesterday Nov. 5th was the real day of Royal Barge Ceremony (For the King to give the merit at Arun Temple = Dawn Temple-- float along Chaopraya river) Beautifuuuuul and wise....In the Old day some of these barges been used in the ancient wars....but now for peace and grateful. This time the King still being in the hospital didn't be in the barge.....Pray for His Health And lets say Long Live the King....

Never been imagine these 2 months (Sept - Oct) I've been doing these things..... Besides my full time job at ELITE, Since September i directed a drama stage show for my church anniversary , And then been a MC for the concert named 'Youth Unlimited' (Which is i had to ware this outfit, with help of my designer friend i felt alike some alien crew character in Startrex )..-then did the roadshow to promote and fund raising for the Bangkok Call event in many churches around Bangkok and suburbs ... And latest thing was operated the Christian music Festival "The Bangkok Call IV" and IT'S OVER yeah! and then ... another things lining up. I will try to update more

I can't believe i wore these and been on stage for 4 hrs. But as i gave the burden to my designer friend i honored his idea. i forgot to take the before and after pics hto see ow a waaaay different after i back to my normal life phew at least i survive from those 5 inches high heels
